16mm film grain overlays are digital effects that simulate the appearance of grain or texture found in old 16mm films. These overlays are often added to digital video footage to make it look like it was shot on film and to give it a more authentic or vintage feel. The grain overlays can be adjusted to match the look of specific films or to create a custom look. They are commonly used in video production and post-production to enhance the visual quality and add artistic flair to the final product.
